Getting here:  The most popular way to reach the Vineyard is by the Steamship Authority ferry which runs 365 days a year from Woods Hole MA.  Flying is another option as well as other seasonal passenger ferry services from the Cape and the mainland. We can help you decide the best option for you. 

Locations;

Aquinnah is known for breathtaking clay cliffs, inviting natural dunes and a rich Wampanoag Indian history. Relax on the many beaches located on the Atlantic Ocean or Vineyard sound and visit the lighthouse at the furthest westerly point of the island. 

Chilmark is an excellent choice for those wanting a vacation destination with a rural flare away from the hustle and bustle of “Down island”.  Featuring rolling hills and meadows, and accessible to spectacular beaches, such as Lucy Vincent and Squibnocket, tranquil ponds and the fishing village of Menemsha.

West Tisbury is the third town that completes the part of the Vineyard known as “up island”.  Enjoy a vacation with the feel of country living with farmer’s markets and an agricultural fair, while also enjoying desirable visitor activities such as art galleries and antique shows, and the famous Fair in August,  all in proximity to the warm sandy shores of Lamberts Cove and Long Point beaches.

This village combines the appeal of a bustling New England historic harbor with high end boutiques and restaurants and is famously known as the location of “Amity”  the fictional town that was used for many of the scenes from the movie Jaws.

The main port for the Steamship Authority, Vineyard Haven, is a bustling year-round town on Martha's Vineyard. Vacation activities in Vineyard Haven include the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, The Martha’s Vineyard Film Center, and the West Chop Light House.  With upscale shops and restaurants, many open year round this is a great place to visit any time of the year.
