Before you start the fun stuff - ie going to look at Martha's Vineyard property for sale, it's a good idea to have a few ducks in a row before first

Congratulations! You are ready to begin a new chapter in your life and are seeking a property on Martha’s Vineyard.  Whether you plan to raise your family here, or are planning retirement and have more leisure time now, or you want your adult children and grandchildren to have a place to connect as a family, this purchase is associated with pleasure and joy and creating happy memories that will last forever.

Market News - Low inventory for the first half of 2018 meant it was a sellers market.

Hidden Cove is a private association centrally located on the Island of Martha's Vineyard, with close proximity to the airport, high school and towns of Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown.  Comprising of approximately 65 acres of land adjacent to Sengekontacket Pond, Hidden Cove was originallly developed in the 1980's by builder Peter Van Rosbeck with the purpose to build a community of homes. Today there are almost 70 owners with a mix of year round and seasonal residents who each have access to two private tennis courts, and floating dock for kayaking and exploring the beautiful Sengekontacket Pond.

It's September (already) and there's a universal opinion on the island that, despite having the same number of weeks as any other year, this summer went faster than most! The prime July and August weeks flew by but as always we are squeezing out that extra month of September, with its bright blue skies, fluffy white clouds, spectacular sunsets, quieter roads and restaurants and of course the fishing Derby.

The beaches of Martha's Vineyard are some of the most beautiful in the world and are one of the reasons the Vineyard is a destination for many throughout the summer months for swimming, surfing, fishing, clam bakes and good old fashioned R&R.

One of the gratifying aspects of being in real estate on the Vineyard is watching new home owners plunge into island life. Often focused on making changes to their new property, they need recommendations for builders, landscapers, or painters, and have an excited energy in making the property “theirs”.
