SOLD - Black Point Beach key

Social distancing wont be a problem this summer for the latest person to buy a coveted Black Point Beach key ready for summer 2020 - (the one we will all remember when the world was hit by the pandemic Covid-19).

The unbuildable lot was listed in March by Tea Lane Associates for an asking price of $345,000 and sold after only 29 days on market today (April 30th 2020) for $325,000.  The sellers purchased the lot for $300,000 in 2018. 

There are a few semi-private beaches along the coastline of Martha's Vineyard, which we wrote about here.  To own a key to one of Chilmarks beautiful private south shore beaches means that one gets access to miles of Atlantic beach via a locked and guarded gate, that can be a welcome break from the crowds during the summer months, as there is plenty of space to spread out. 

The last beach key in Chilmark to sell was for Quansoo Beach, a neighbor to Black Point,  it was sold in September 2019 for $350,000.

There are currently no beach keys for sale for Black Point and there are only two Quansoo keys on the market for $315,000 and $320,000.
