Martha’s Vineyard has every variety of beach: wide sandy ocean beaches over the dunes, quiet cove beaches, picturesque rocky shores and pond beaches great for littlest ones. There are public beaches in every town as well as several beaches within conservation lands around the island, which are also accessible to the public. The up-island towns of West Tisbury, Chilmark and Aquinnah all feature town-owned beaches that are accessible to residents and renters in those towns. Keep exploring and trying new options, and you’ll find the beach that offers the perfect setting for you.
